They’ve been broadcasting warnings down here that the sun is likely to interfere with radio reception. Is this a particularly good display of northern lights due to solar flare activity? Or does Sweden always look like this?
I have been in Sweden many times and have (unfortunately) never seen it look like this. Very beautiful picture.
It is a big wish of mine to see the the Northern Lights one day.
How can this be Swedish? Where’s all the tall blonds?

Apparently the coastal, Norwegian city of Tromsø is known to be a great place to see the northern lights, especially during the winter season, there.
It seems that the northern lights are somewhat of a seasonal thing.
