I sure would like to see the Northern Lights someday. I just can’t imagine what it would be like to look at the sky and see colors. And I guess the colors move too. I read a book called Tent Life in Siberia ( or something like that) and it described a display that was remarkable even in that area and it really sounded almost as if it would be scary.
Cynth, they move incredibly slowly. Its like watching the minute hand on a clock. You know its moving, but its hard to see the movement. Here’s a site with some sped up film clips so you can get a better idea of the movement.
