Sessions/Lessons in the Los Angeles Area?

I know this is probably better posted in one of the other forums, but I think it’ll get more views here.

I’m moving to Los Angeles shortly- are there any good sessions and/or flute teachers in the area? I’ll be living in the downtown area, probably willing to drive an hour or so if the session is particularly good. Thanks for any leads!

For teachers, maybe Nuala Kennedy (currently “with child”) will be sticking around Venice, CA for awhile and not touring, so up to her if she’s wanting to teach. Use the “Contact Nuala” section of this page:

Ugh, downtown.

Thanks! Very helpful. I’m not thrilled about downtown either, but I need to live near the courthouse as I’d prefer to avoid driving to and from downtown during rush hour. Though I suppose somewhere on the red line is also an option.

We have plenty of other courthouses. Does it need to be that one?

Sadly, yes. That’s where my boss sits, so that’s where it’ll have to be. Looking forward to meeting the LA session crew in a few months.
