I’ll be travelling a lot in the next few months (Chicago, New York, points in between…) and I’ve looked at a couple sites and tried to do searches looking for open sessions to visit.

While sessions are sometimes posted here and elsewhere (like sessioneer.org, for example, not to advertize their name or anything) I can’t help but think there has to be more sessions out there and that I’m not looking in the right place. Surely there is a generally accepted location where everyone tries to post their session.

I’m not asking for replies from individual sessions because I’m not even sure of my schedule yet.

I’m also kind of looking for a place where I can routinely check if new sessions open in my area. I think I could use an occasional change from my regular group.

I can’t think of just one place to keep tabs on various sessions, but since you mentioned Chicago, I thought I’d mention this bar in South Bend: http://fiddlershearth.com/. They have regular sessions you might want to add to your list. Very trad-friendly place.
