How long did it actually take you Seery owners to get your flute? I don’t want the approx. waiting period from Krell or the website. Thanks.
I sent for mine on 5/23. It got here 8/1, considerably longer than the estimate. Frank said that Seery was experiencing a higher demand for his flutes, so the delivery time has slid back. Since you can’t mass produce even these polymer flutes, I would guess that his actual waiting time is going to be about 125% of his estimate.
On one hand that is good, as it means that he must be doing something right to get the extra business. On the other hand, waiting for anything is a pain.
I just went to a shop and bought the flute. No waiting at all.

Well, Krell will post anyway. I’m always interested in what the real story is and the feedback re: delivery and quality control issues. This is partly my fault, anyway. Looks like Seery flutes are now taking 6-10 weeks. My intention on setting up a free website for Desi was to generate some more music-related activity for him, but it looks like Desi is finding it hard to keep up with demand. I apologize to anyone who is waiting, but he does make them up on a lathe in the same manner as wood flutes, reaming from solid rod stock, etc.
Thanks for the attention anyway, Kev.
Claudine,
So to avoid the wait I guess I’ll have to fly to Luxembourg ![]()
Wrong! I travelled to Ireland by car and ship and bought the flute in Ennis at Custy’s. And don’t fancy you could have mine! :-b
Aye ! That Claudine’s parents di’na
