I was fortunate that a generous C&F member sold me one of these in D and it has become one of my truly favorite instruments. There is just nothing to complain about and it is just plain beautiful from a design and cosmetic standpoint. My question is regarding the maker Peter Bonsteel. I was hoping that he’d made these in another key. Does anyone know? I’d also read, earlier this year, that Peter had taken ill and was wondering if anyone had a status update? He seems like a great guy and he made a wonderful instrument. One of the very best IMO.
