Peter’s a great guy, and you’ll love his whistle.
Worth every penny new.
Mike
I agree. I bought mine from Doc, but if i had to get another, I’d wouldn’t mind paying full price.
Are these made out of Hudson, NY?
If only!
Nope, Peter is in a little place called Cold Spring, NY, south of Fishkill.
He does welcome visitors, but for unfriendly types, he has killer guard dogs, several machine gun nests mounted high on the fortress walls. And hungry alligators populate the moat.
So if you’re a stalker or whistle robber ~ BEWARE! ![]()
Mike
~about 20 miles north of Hudson, NY. I don’t have a moat.
It’s not in Hudson NY, but Cold Spring is on the Hudson River, just north of West Point (on the opposite shore). A gorgeous stretch of the river.
Isn’t that the same area where Seth Gallagher also makes pipes and flutes? A hot-bed of celtic instrument makers, eh!

Not only them, there’s a guy about 1.5 hr north that makes wooden whistles… ![]()
Yes, of course, in fact I believe I have one of his whistles in olivewood. ![]()
Cheers!
