I’m in the market for a fully restored, ready for performance, 30 key C/G Jeffries. Needs to be in the USA and I’d like to have the opportunity to fly out (lots of frequent flyer miles) to try it before purchase.
I’d also consider other premium concertina reeded instruments, would prefer a Jeffries layout.

Call Paul Groff. I got my box from him, after visiting his house (at the time he lived in MA) and test-driving a half-dozen high-end boxes he had in his stable.
Paul restores, sells, teaches and plays. He is more of a matchmaker of instruments than a broker of them. He is not likely to have something extremely specific on-hand (e.g., if you specifically want a Wheatstone Linota,) but he knows a lot about concertinas and will really help you in your search. When you are seeking a high-end box, you’ll want to talk to someone like him.
