Please excuse my ignorance in not knowing where to post this, or even if it’s worth posting. It’s just that every time I launch C&F, and watch the black spot on the white page while it launches, I can’t help but think “wouldn’t that look so much nicer if it had the stylized C&F logo in the dot”.
I’ll go away now. Feel free to ditch this note if it’s inappropriate, unachievable or whatever!
Still can’t stop wishing that black dot on launching said C&F. Does anyone (Blayne?) know if that’s feasible, or am I fantasizing?

What black dot are you seeing? I don’t get that when I launch the site.
When I launch C&F on my phone, I see a blank white page with a big black filled in circle at centre. It only lasts a few seconds, but is very stark.
I should mention that this is on my phone. I haven’t tried launching it on a computer.
I should have thought to ask, anyone else seeing this dot?
They’re there while forum is loading five green circles on on black or white, depending on whether you are in dark or light mode.
I suppose it depends on your connection how long it takes the forum to load. The new set up seems to have a heavy footprint, currently it takes me about ten seconds of seeing the dots before it opens. Which tests the patience.
Fun idea!
Also, I found some areas where we can improve load-speed. I’ll chat with our sys admin about this. Thanks for the feedback on that @Mr.Gumby
