Remember the picture of the whistle sunburst?

Sorry trying to make the subject line helpful but I don’t know if it is. Jessie had put up a picture of whistles arranged in a sunburst and I used it as wallpaper for a long time. With the new whistle art work lately posted I thought I would switch my wallpaper for a while. In doing so I lost the neat whistle picture.

Rats! Sayeth the mouse. I should have saved the picture in a file. When I switched wallpaper it just overwrote that whistle sunburst. I tried doing a search through the old posts to find it but maybe it was before this board.

Jessie could you or anyone else who saved it repost it in the section of whistle art? I really loved that picture.

That thread contained many messages that didn’t get archived (‘due to a coolboard error’ the screen says), including the original post with the pictures. Jessie would have to post it again. Considering some of the (undeserved, in my opinion) flack she caught for it, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’d rather send it email or something, if at all.

I see I’m not the only one who loved that picture. A very fond thanks to Mick,John, Stan and Clark for sending me a copy of that .jpg. It is now safely saved in a special file called whistlepics. Right now on my wallpaper I’m using the picture of Mercury and his whistle. But I’m sure I’ll be rotating in the other beautiful pictures that are being posted.

Unless someone else comes to your rescue before tomorrow, I have it as the wallpaper on my PC at work.

I’ll send myself an email to remember to post it on to whoever wanted it in this thread.

Here’s hoping I haven’t managed to clear it out unknowingly…!!
