I really wanted to learn Labhras O Cadhla’s setting of Caoineadh Inion Ui Mhuiriosa as a slow air, which involves much repeated listening. A pain with streaming audio.
So I finally got off me arse and downloaded Audacity (freeware)from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Once you select “Wave Out Mix” as your input, it’ll capture whatever is playing through your speakers (or headphones). So now I have a manageable size clip. Easy.
Of course I could have used the CD, but it hasn’t arrived in the mail yet.
