Rare ITM Recordings Site

Trad Irish Music

I found this site while searching for recordings of Roger Sherlock. It has downloads of quite a few ITM albums that never made it to CD.

Enjoy!

Thanks. Some interesting looking stuff there. That’ll keep me amused for a while.

I didn’t look through them all but I hope they got Donncha O’Briain (sp?) in there

4

Unfortunately not yet, though I suggested it in the comments and the owner replied that he’d be on the lookout for that one.

I just recently bought an immaculate vynil copy of the Donncha O’Briain album. It is unbelievable! One of the best recordings I own. He adds such a pulse with his breath…it was an epiphany for me to hear.

If Donncha’s family doesn’t mind the fact we are sharing, maybe I could get a copy to the owner of that site and we could all have that.

I would need to get my son to help me figure out how to rip a digital copy…

Winrar will work if you’re running windows, or you could pick one of these.

Btw, ceolalainn recently posted a rip of Billy Clifford’s very fine flute lp from 1977.
