In related news, Apple is clearing out their little 512MB Ipod Shuffles for $29 US to make way for the new models. Anyone who appreciates the randomness of shuffle play may be interested. They hold roughly 120 songs and used to retail for $99, although the new ones are half the size and hold 240 songs for $79 US.

Pretty good value for $29! They’re “refurbished,” but carry the full warranty. We’ve had good luck buying their refurbished products, and given the deal they’re offering on the new version, I have a feeling most of these refurbished models are merely new ones being discarded cheaply.
