Ralph Cook whistle.

So, I’m stalking eBay for low whistles and I see this Ralph Cook low D appear at $35.00 but with a reserve. It’s now up to $125 (and finally met the reserve).
I did some research with google and the archive and I found that they used to sell for $75 brand new. Here’s a link to it if you are interested. It’s way out of my price range.

I guess my question is do all whistles appreciate in value this much? Do any of them go down in value?

Thanks,

Ralph Cook stoped making this whistle.
Not that it justifies the high price but it definitely explains it.

Oh, and do you want to buy one for $90 ???
