well, looks like Andrew got it! good for him, I guess we’ll never get to hear about it

andrew tells me he is quite pleased to have gotten it. Especially since it seems to be a perfect match to the Rudall/Rose he acquired a year ago on eBay, a flute in F. Also in cocus with ivory rings. Serial numbers are very close.
Now he’s got the cousins, a nice set.
strange how the head is such a different color wood, almost like it wasn’t original but the ebay descr. says it’s all original. his short f is a gorgeous little flute. what a nice set of flutes to have. i’m happy for him, he deserves them.
The Head is probably from a different piece of wood and different wpieces of woods don’t look the same.
The ivory mount (ring) between the barrell and head is most likely an old replacement, see photos.
