As some of you may or may not know I recently completed construction of an Aluminum low D whistle. I posted a clip on Clips n’ Snips. Oh Danny Boy Justin Panovec, under Slow Airs. Give a listen and tell my what you think of the whistle… Not the playing I know I suck
I also Posted a Song. “Seeker Lament” under original works. You can give that a listen too, but you don’t have too.

Justin, congrats on completing your whistle! The piece of copper sitting behind my desk is jealous of your aluminum… ![]()
I leave the critique to the more experienced makers and whistlers out there-- just wanted to offer encouragement to you!!
All the best,

Justin,
I’ll try to give your tunes a listen, but I also want to congratulate you on completing a whistle that you can atually play a tune on. I started making the “Bloody Hand” whistle a few months ago, and due to busyness and other things, all I have to speak of is a two-foot long piece of copper piping that has a wooden dowel in one end, a roughly cut hole near the wooden dowel, and when blown through it sounds like someone blowing through a copper pipe. ![]()
I’m not quite ready for production quite yet. ![]()

p.s. Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all!
