Subject: Pipes for sale:

A full set of pipes will likely be posted for for auction in the near future. The pipes are fully going, reeded and will have a restoration completed before sale. The set is Paddy Keenan’s original set.

The chanter dates from 20’s to 30’s and was played by Mr. Keenan from the age of 12 years old. This is the set which was played during Mr. Keenan’s years with the Bothy Band, as well as on most of his solo
recordings.

The pipes will be accompanied by documentation related to their
history and origin.

At this time no inquires are being accepted.

Notice will be given through the appropriate internet sources of the pending auction. Pictures and further infomation will be
forthcoming and posted onto the Paddy Keenan website http://www.paddykeenan.com

Has anyone heard any more about the Geoff Wooff anniversary set?

I believe the G.W set went for $25000 US.
Though I would confirm before swearing on the bible!

I know that Geoff had an offer of 25,000US$. I don’t believe anyone else had made an offer for a larger amount by the cut-off date.

I believe it has already passed, though you would either have to mail Geoff, or wait until his internet-savvy friend comes by and posts the cutoff date.
