We are sitting in the mountains enjoying doing nothing. I will have my shop up and running in a couple of weeks. Ever try moving a 600 pound lathe…wheeeew!!

How come pipe makers never move to Idaho?

I always thought that pipe makers wanted to move to Idaho.
Isn’t that the place where they have the Church of the Lathe Day Saints ?

I’ve moved a 350# clawfoot tub. For a 600# lathe, I’d want a bunch of burly piano movers and a truck with a ramp. Never try to move that heavy stuff yourself. You’ll end up hurting yourself permanently.
