Partner needed for St Paddie's Day gig!

I have an upcoming gig on St Patrick’s Day in St Augustine, FL. I play whistles and flute and I would like to have a partner to accompany me. I would like to find someone who plays any of the following: strings, flute, bodhran, whistle, or pipes. The gig will be at Scarlett O’hara’s from 4-8pm. I will be getting paid $100 for playing and I will give half or all of it to whomever plays with me(not to mention a free bar tab!). So, if you live in the area or know someone who might be interested, please let me know.

Thanks, Jason

Oy vey, that’s O’Hara with a capital H. It’s a name near and dear to me, and I hate to see it mangled. :sniffle:

Good luck with the gig, Jason!

I should know better too! I’m the assistant kitchen manager there!

Well, it’s a bit of a trip, but if you’d care to send me a plane ticket…

I’ll bet JetBlue’s prices are pretty low right now!

Four hours of straight whistle is a lot of whistle at one go.

that’s why I’d like to have a partner…so I can take a break and play my autoharp or attempt to sing.

ahh man, i lve in tampa, but i already have some whislte gatherings planned there. too bad i didnt hear of this earlier. :frowning: sorry about that.

Four hours for fifty bucks?! Kinda skinny aint it?

Yeah, even with an open bar that’s pretty weak… unless it’s your first time on stage then maybe I could see them being so stingy.

$100 bucks is what the bar pays for that spot. It’s not main stage. Besides…I offered to give the whole $100 to whoever plays with me. I’m just in it for fun.
