When’s he coming to Portland? HINT HINT PADDY!

Bump… just to keep this in the collective consciousness

PD.

Just a reminder… looking forward to seeing some of you there.

Make all the effort you can to attend. I went to one of his workshops in Melbourne this year and it was a great experience. He especially likes to debate and add his opinion to the philisophical argument on how the music should be played. Keenan is on the complete opposit side of the coin in comparison to say, the accordion player, Tony McMahon. Having said that, either of their opinions in regard to the music is valid and should be listened to; regardless as to whether you agree or disagree with either of their musical arguments.

Overall the workshop given by Keenan was an invaluable experience. If you are able to attend, get to this workshop by any means.

He’s played there at Beglan’s Pig Barn a few times already, also the St John’s Lodge McMenamin’s I think.

Paddy’s Schedule. Nothing in the PNW this time through. One of you fellows should set up a workshop next time - or bring it up with someone who does them.

What’s the difference in attitude between Paddy and Tony? Speed? Backup?

Truly a travelling piper! What a schedule.

Saw him in a small venue in Pasadena last night as a prelude to the workshop. He asked people if they had brought instruments to come up and share the last set. Lots of fun and very laid back. And its comforting to know that even professionals will not remember tune names!
