Beautiful picture–thanks for sharing!
Ferget the confuzzling posts…the pic is cute…but c’mon, I want to see the dress! All of it…or at least a good portion of it. Kissyface is all well and good, but the dress, Jessie…the dress!
Congratulations, Jessie!!!
Adrian
Yes! Great pix! I’m on the same channel as Tyghress. The Dress! The Dress! Straight on and standing beside your handsome hubby!
You know! Flowers and all!
Cheers,
Kathy ![]()
The dress was simple: ivory with subtle beading at the top and bottom. It had straps instead of sleeves, so I wore a sheer scarf with it. It moved gracefully and didn’t show my bulging lower belly.

Aww, are you gonna post the real wedding pictures? Soon?
I agree with Sam, sweet and princess-y!
wipes a tear from his eye
Congratulations, Jessie. May you enjoy a lifetime of happiness together.
More pictures! these make my day.
Permit me to gush this once: it makes me happy
to see people getting what they want, even more
so because in this case it’s you. Blessings.
This gets my vote for funniest thread ever! (although the one where Bloomfield is seen holding a teacup is very close second).
I actually do like wedding pics though.
Hey, one more post and I’ll have a thousand!
Congratulations on your marriage, and many years of happiness. ![]()
I, too want to see a bit more of your pics.
Only if you count in base 100.
Thank you, Jim. ![]()
Ok, more pictures soon.

Congratulations Jessie. The best of luck for the present and future. ![]()
Ok, here are some more. The quality isn’t so great, because I took digital photographs of small printed ones.
Here, I was getting ready with the help of Dan’s niece Blair, my flower girl.
Here, my parents are hugging me just before heading to walk down the aisle.
Here, at the end of the ceremony, Dan has broken the glass and my mom is picking up the pieces. That’s Terry on the left, blocked by the tree.
Here, after the ceremony, Dan and I were walking up the aisle, just married. Bear in mind, I needed (wanted and got) a dress that didn’t accentuate the pregnancy. It didn’t usually look that full…it’s a movement picture.
Here I was with Dan’s parents.
Here, Dan and I stole a moment before the formal photographs, all of which I don’t like. But anyway, this is the color version of the black and white one from the contact sheet. It was taken at the same time by the husband of the b&w photographer.
Here Dan was feeding me cake. My dad made those cakes!!
And finally, after I sang At Last, with Dan on the piano, Blair ran over and gave me a hug.

Jim, I’ll second that. Keep 'em coming Jessie! My Cindy and I have gotten married 3 times… to eachother.
Once at the group wedding downtown (we had to have a civil ceremony because she is a foreigner) The second one was a Christian wedding with full blown traditional Irish music reception with a band and everything. Third one was a Chinese wedding in her original home-town (Xining City, Qinghai provence) out in Western China. It was Chinese opera themed because that’s what her family does.
Best,
-Paul
Keeping coming, Jess! Good to see you so happy! (and knocked up!)
Wonderful pictures. I actually love your dress it’s so long and flowy. I like the simple roses in your hair, too. You made a very pretty bride. (Your flower girl’s adorable too.
)
God bless, your husband, and your new baby. ![]()
the old days when I got attacked repeatedly for posting pictures of myself and my cats.
My apologies if I reacted by filling up your e-mail with pictures of my cats! ![]()
All the best to you! Take care, and keep us “posted”.
le gra,
Jim
I loved the pictures!
It looks like a wonderful time was had by all!
