I always wonder how people come across weird things on ebay. Were you just wondering if there was a MIG for sale on ebay. “Hmmm. I’d like to buy a MIG. Maybe there’s one on ebay.”
Steve
I wonder how many whistles you could make out of it?
I think I’ll bid on it. Wow, I hope I get it!!
maybe tony meant to type MEG in the search??
Ha.
Dale…
Your big chance to augment DaleForce One. Don’t let this one slip by!
hi, uh what does OT mean?
All I can say is, “When opportunity knocks, be ready.” I guess I never mentioned I’m an international arms dealer (and diamond smuggler). I’m looking into getting an inactive volcano for a lair for my minions. My island is too exposed. I just thought a Mig would be a nice accessory. Call me frivolous.

OT means “Off Topic”
Can you believe how many bids have been placed on that thing!!!

Probably terrorists looking for more weapons!
It reminds me of the steam powered sternwheeler (old time steam paddle boat) I saw on eBay. It was the second time the same boat was listed there. It was authentic, looked just like it was out of an old Mark Twain story. It sold the second time for over $250,000 I think.
Now, had it been a newer Mig, I would probably have bought it, but the Mig 21 is just too old. ![]()

I took a look at the picture of the inside of the cockpit of that plane. Lots of meters and stuff. It reminded me of a time I was talking to an airline pilot who was an airline pilot and old-time banjo player (There goes your confidence in pilots already, I bet). I asked him how he could keep track of all the dials and meters in the plane. He said “Oh, I never knew what half of those were for”. I still don’t know if he was kidding of not.

This might be a good way to capture terrorists. Put Plutonium and other implements of mass destruction on eBay, and then tell them they have to pick them up in person.
Don’t laugh, it worked in Chicago for wanted criminals. They sent a bunch of wanted folks a notice that they had won free Bulls tickets, and that they had to show up on Saturday morning at 9:00 to pick them up. I think they got between 40 and 50 guys.
