It is a lovely whistle.
Little to no back pressure. Fairly high wind requirements, but not oppressive. High tonal complexity, 2nd to the my Bernie Overton Low D. Large spread, but rotating bottom hole segment makes it comfortable to play.
I could never part with my Howard Low D until I got this whistle. It had all the sultry timbre and much more. It is very responsive to ornaments and it has a lot of haunting qualities.
