I’m surprised someone hasn’t snapped this flute up for the buy it now price. 1700 US is 933 sterling or 1405 euros. Wilkes flutes are superb instruments and Chris apparently won’t be making any keyless flutes for the next 6 years or so. It’s a lot of money I know, but well worth it.

We are going to be staying in the Bremerton and Port Townsend areas.
Planning a few trips to Seattle, wouldn’t want to miss Pike Place, Music Experience, Ivar’s chowder, the Olde Curiosity Shoppe and a few other things. Last time we rented canoes at the UW and tooled around Lake Washington. Then had ice cream at the Slab on The Ave. We also rode “The Duck” ~ hilarious! We saw the Troll under the bridge, and stopped in at Dusty Strings. Port Townsend is a nice funky town too, where my sister lives, we’ll be staying there for a few days.
If anyone wants to plan a small get together, let me know. Maybe we can all meet somewhere for a tune!

You should pop up and visit Casey Burns in Kingington, it is just about 30 minutes from Bremerton. You could try out his Bb flute, very nice… :roll:
And then you can float over the ferry to Seattle, and visit Peter Noy, and sample his gilded wonders. But first, stop by the bank and take out another morgage on the house, so you can put down a deposit…
