Woke up early this mourning. Excited. First session tonight. Started up the old truck yesterday (63 Dodge, ran like a Swiss watch; well maybe a Westclock scotty but all 8 cylenders seemed to be fireing) The big city (only 28 miles away) was already calling. Turned on the steario put on the Chieftains. Still dark outside, try to shake off the effects of this new medication, rumitoid artritis, discusting disease, mush happier with WhOA, checked my email, Dixon Low D flute whistle combo on the way. Oh Boy. Starting to get a little bit light outside, seem foggy, what WHAT!!!NOT SNOW NO! NO! total blizzard. Hasnt snowed all winter. The weather report yesterday said 42 degrees! NOT SNOW!!! I just cant believe it. Well piddle. Im going in anyhow. I may not get back but I just cant miss this. Whistle on.
I hear ya M. I hate this stuff.
Hey Susnfx maybe you could get that St. Bernard on its way and Ill meet him on the way. One other neet thing this mourning besides finding that the Dixons are on the way, I was digging in my junk for some guitar books for another thread and I found The Clarke Tin Whistle book by Bill Ochs. The big one. And another one called The Penny Whistle Book by Robin Williamson. Didnt even know I had them. Oh well, I dont remember the 60s either.
(My mom stayed home sick today so I got to drive the car rather than using the public transport, however Mother Nature decided to snow on me and make the roads slicker 'n snot 'n a doorknob! grrr. Gotta love Wintertime… )

Hi BlackBeer. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your suffering. It was snowing here as well when I woke up, but thats not very strange considering the fact that we live about 50 mins from each other. Session? Let me guess. 7:00 in Spokane at O’Doritys Pub
Yep that was it. 8:00 though. But I couldn`t get my truck out of my drive-way. And they rarely plow the roads in good old Clayton. Oh well maybe next week.
So you are only 50 min. away. Is that north of Spokane or south?
Tom

Oh ya. Thats Dales little coffee stand. Great guy. Good computer man. Hes helped me a lot when I built my other confusser. I havent made it up Colville way yet. But the guy that shoes my horse lives up there, in fact he plays in a band with a nother friend of mine I think they call themselves Wild Horse. They play in a bar up there. Pretty good to. Well its nice to know there are some whistlers around. I think the Elf must live in Spokane. Small world.
