I’ve seen this guy do it (on TV). He plays in public and lives off tips. When I was a kid there was a man on TV who did the same thing. English Ivy too. (Sounds like a line from a song). I remember it sounded like a trumpet.

I guess the story goes that this fellow was recorded by some local music company, and when the Kronos Quartet did their latest album they bought the recording of this guy doing Perfidia. The fellow was never paid for his work.

Phenomenal sound. . .cross between a violin and a hurdy gurdy sound.
