the old foot-pedal loop trick has been around for a while.
though i havent seen it used on a flute (of any kind) before - is there a better recording?
I for one look forward to seeing more people introducting computers to the folk paridigm and i intend to be part of that movement once i can descide how best to approach it, which tools are best suited and learn the new compositional tricks ill need to operate.
I think this video represents a very subtle and organic use of technology in the music, its the polar opposite from wapping out a key-tar and hammering through coolies like it was a kraftwerk song, but theres a lot of room between those extreems which may not be to everyones taste, but will be artistically worthwhile.

I am not too keen on that either… I like this one much better… but definitely not irish!
OK, THIS one I like - way different from my normal tastes, but enjoyable!
