I figured somebody had to post this at some point…
Shhh! Don’t tell Brian Finnegan about it, though!
That being said, I’d be curious to see somebody like Conal Ó Gráda try something like this…

deja somethin’…
I’d like to see McGoldrick play with this guy.
There was one clip where he played the Sesame Street theme and went so red it was funny like.
Drat. That’s what I get for not hangin’ out on the flute forum much these days…
If Michael McGoldrick ever does wind up playing with that dude, then verily, verily I say unto you, the end is near…
someone already posted this nut to the YouTube section (where it belongs…though in the trash more likely)
stab me in the freakin’ eye already!
hey…but if it’s just me, then my opinion. ![]()
no offense intended …much.

Well yours truly was the one who posted it to the youtube thread. I did so because it’s one of those rare things that comes along and reminds me that anything is possible. No, I don’t care to listen beat boxing the flute day in or day out. But I do liken it to seeing Stanley Jordan for the first time, or the guy on Geraldo who could play guitar with his feet, or the Montreal Guitar Trio doing the sitar thing on a classical guitar, or Michael Hedges doing anything, or Stevie Ray Vaughn playing his Strat behind his back…
To repeat what was said in the Whistle forum, now that we’ve established that people have different musical tastes, we can get back on topic. ![]()
good 'nuff.
now…beatboxing on a wooden flute…
is that around?
'cause it’s sooo much easier on metal!
