For anyone who might be interested in Northumbrian piping, I’ve listed a concert G 11-keyed NSP chanter by Dave Shaw on Ebay.

This chanter has a couple of things to recommend it: it’s in concert G, unlike the normal NSP G pitch which is actually closer to F; so it’s useful for sessions with other instruments; it has an interchangeable chanter stock, enabling it to be used in a set of SSP with the right chanter stock size; it’s made by one of the premier G chanter makers; and it’s available with no wait and at a discount from the maker’s price.
