Noo toons 4 Yoo

Amongst the squeeks and the squawks and the octave drops, here’s a few new tunes I recorded - oh, and yes, the fade ins indicate I stuffed the bit before and the fade outs indicate I stuffed the bit after…other bum notes were carefully and meticulously orchestrated to make it sound more ‘human’ :sunglasses:

Sixpenny Money (It think)

Slieve Russell

Haste to the Wedding

The Cuckoo’s Nest

Nice.

Lots o’ bass rumble. You might want to filter some of that out.

djm

DJM, what are you using to play the files? I’m not sure what you mean by ‘bass rumble’ but I played these files using three different media players - Audacity, Windows Media Player, IrFan View, and none have any noticable ‘rumble’. There are three drones going though

DavidG

Sounds fine to me… although I was shocked at first, I don’t believe I have heard all three of your drones going before David.

Check that whatever you are playing through doesn’t have an equalizer or filter on. Turn them all off, so that you are only hearing the raw file. That’s when the bass comes through, and that’s when I’m hearing it. Nice playing, though.

Yeah…it’s a rareity…it’s those new composite reeds…never fail to do what I ask them to do

Good on you mate!

I play around later and have a look. You don’t have surround sound on your PC do you?

DavidG

Nice tunes. Particularly the Cuckoo’s Nest. There’s a lovely sour note in the 3rd part.

Good on you mate! >

Easy on the shoulders too.

Sour notes rock!! Thanks PJ

I think there is a leak in my reed because it’s been particularly squealy unlike its predecessor which unfortunately went into early retirement.
