I must be the happiest person between New York and DC tonight. My new whistle made by Mitch Smith came this afternoon, and I’ve already played it longer than a new wood whistle should be played. It’s requiring great self-control on my part to keep my grimy little fingers off it and let it oil for a while.
A twinge of guilt, here: such a great instrument for such a noob. Better keep practicing!
Congratulations on receiving your new Oz whistle!! I am definitely thinking about ordering one too, because it just looks and sounds phenomenal! I saw the review of it by Tony Hinnigan posted on You Tube and he was left just about speechless regarding how good it was, so that was enough to convince me right there. I really like the few wooden whistles I have so far and the Oz whistle would be a great addition- I only wish I had the extra money available to order one right now! I hope you continue to enjoy it…congratulations again!
