I’m a terrible proofreader. I’ve finished a newsletter and I wonder if someone would mind taking a look and proofreading it before I distribute it to everyone.

Actually most of us who know her just spell it “Condie” or, on the days when she’s not wearing a bra, “Condi.”

I just got up to section VIII and noticed that “Chiff & Fipple” appeared as “chiff & fipple” a couple of times. Then I was distracted by section IX, seeing that the Undisputed Number Two Daughter is attending my elder brother’s alma mater, although it was still Mississippi Southern College when he graduated (ca. 1956). Then I went wandering off on the Web to find out about how it became the University of Southern Mississippi, and then down one rabbit trail after another.

So that ended my career as a proofreader.

I’m confused about the “tectonics” thing. Did someone refer to Miz Dolly with some comment about “Grand Tetonics”?
