From the book’s introduction…

“This book explains and details various techniques used by flute players in traditional Irish music. It includes arrangements of 64 Irish tunes, as I play and teach them. I have chosen many of the tunes because I find them particularly suited to the flute.
This book focuses on ornamentation and repertoire development…”

Sounds cool, and I love the cover. Wish she had a sample page or two available for viewing, might help her sell more books, just a thought.

Hand carried !!!

She had this book for sale at East Durham last month, but unfortunately they all got snapped up by others (probably including Jack) before I had a chance to get one…

Just ordered mine!

I ordered mine yesterday through Blayne McChastain’s whistle and drum shop. His W&D newsletter was the first I had heard about it. I can’t wait!

Jeanie

Well just ordered, so it should be on its way soon!

sounds pretty good!

I just punched in a paypal number and that was it, to order. Absolutely amazing. In the 1980’s three guys, Rivest, Shamir, and Adleman files throught MIT to patent the RSA public key encryption system. It is the most important invention sence the airplane wing. Search google to read about how NSA indited Phil Zimmerman (also from MIT) for exporting a terriorist weapon when he made the RSA algorithm into the PGP software to change the world.
