New C&F Stringed Instruments Forum

Does everyone know about the new Traditional String Instruments at forum http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewforum.php?f=11?

It was announced in the Announcements forum, which I never think to check, and mentioned briefly in a post on the ITM forum, which I seldom read, but unlike the NAF forum, it doesn’t seem to have rated a sticky notice in the Whistle forum, so I thought I’d bring it up here, in case some others might be interested who, like me, missed the announcement. I only found it by accident, myself.

Maybe I’ll brazenly crosspost this to the Whistle forum, too.

I’d advise caution there, eh…

If you mention brazen on the whistle forum you’re gonna be inundated with questions about who’s better, which one is loader…

Ya I think we noticed!

Nano has been absent from the pub since the string forum started.

It’s not as interesting as the “Alpine](http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewforum.php?f=13%22%3EAlpine) Yodeling-Samba Fusion Forum”, though.
What’s this board coming to?

Yeah, that one’s getting real busy!

I am still upset that NO ONE here has spoken of harps other then meself. THE traditional instrument of Erin sadly accumulating dust, while the nouveau fretted blather on about . . .banjoes.

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Oi! Leave it…

I’ll leave it to Lambchop to correct your spelling of “banjos” (and of :stuck_out_tongue:).

I’ve wondered about the dearth of harpists and harpers here, myself.

my first dulcimer teacher is also a celtic harpist (Nancy Bick Clark). Does that count???
