name that (pipe) tune

i have a clue to the name, its ‘the humors of …’ im not sure the second part.
its a nice three part pipe jig with a phrase which is a crans - followed by a quick run up the D major arpegio followed by another cran? on low D this phrase is used a lot in the A section and finished the B and C sections, the tune never goes above high G.

can you name it?

i hope im uning the correct mening of cran here, roll on the low D using the g finger and with the chanter off the knee.

Humours of Glendart

Is it this one Chris?

David

i have no you-tube in work, but its not looking too hopeful if the session ABC’s are anything to go by.

ill checktonight and report back.

Hi Chris

I then thought it might be Humours of Dingle The middle tune here in this nice set by Jem on a Swayne whistle, but it goes to high A.

Is it the Humours of Kesh Virtual Session it is the third tune in the set of 3.

David

A severely truncated version of The Lark’s March?

Humours of Ballyloughlin?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdOR5WtsLeY

That was the first tune I thought of, but dismissed it when I read the “three parts” and “D arpeggio” references – until I just now realized there’s a that big fat DFA ~D3, right there at the end of the A part.

DUH! Anyway, just in case, here are the ABC’s for chris:

T: Humors of Ballyloughlin
S: “Ceol Rince na hEireann” 1/32
