Tune request

Does anyone know the name or have the abc notation to the 2 first tunes of Cran’s set Humours of Ballyloughlin from the cd Black, black, black?

Abbey Reel (monster tune!) and West Clare Reel (maybe has another name?). Gotta love the pipes when they come back to the Abbey! The Abbey is in one of the Ceol Rince books (1?)

The “Abbey” and the “West Clare” [ also known as “A Fair Wind” , incidentally ] are the 1st 2 tunes on “Black, Black Black” right enough, but what’s being asked for - if I’ve understood correctly - is the names of the tunes which are played along with “The Humours Of Ballyloughlin”. which presumably are jigs of some sort. I can’t remember offhand, but I’ll find out for you tonight if no-one’s done it by then.

D’Oh!! try again…

Humours of Ballyloughlin/Liz Kelly’s Delight… (and tho’ it says Hardimans for the last, that’s Frahers Jig)

Alan

here’s what I got off www.the session.org. Big tune-its in my tune book to learn. Probably not the variant you are looking for, but you have the bones to put the meat on. HTH
