Just received my “A” Sindt whistle yesterday.
Wow! This is a very nice musical instrument. It has great tone through both octaves and really has superb intonation. I think this whistle will become my favorite rather quickly.

Did you know that you can purchase an Bb body for your A mouthpiece for only about $15 - it is a great deal, and the Bb is every bit as nice as the A!

Wow! I didn’t know that. I give that I try. The only other Bb that I have is a Generation. It’s not bad but I’m sure the Sindt will great.

Rest assured, the Sindt Bb is great. I did it the other way around, and am waiting on my A tube.

If you order just the body, does that also take about 8 months?
Fortunately I was able to buy the “set” from one of the C&Fers. Love them both but not quite loud enough in a group…love the tone though and you can really play some schmultzy stuff …if you’re into that. Gm
Yes Kmeister, it took 8 months to get just the A body, though in her correspondence with me, Ann Sindt said occasionally John sends them out early if he has extras.
Are there any different bodies that will work on a C Sindt?

The C was designed to stand alone with a single body, unlike the other Sindts. However, with the right tubing I bet you could make a great D whistle from that C mouthpiece, Much more session worthy than standard Sindt D I’m guessing…
