When I went to the Workshop at “Lady of the Creek” a couple of weeks ago, Wendy discovered that I was having a problem with my high G on my whistle. She suggested that I send it to Dave to see what the problem was, so I sent my whistle back to Dave for him to check it out and there was a problem with the Delrin fipple plug. He put on a new mouthpiece with a new fipple plug made of “Renshape” and it sounds just beautiful! So I still have my quiet mouthpiece, which is important to me. I don’t think that I have as much problem with moisture build up either. I pulled the whistle out of the package and played through 3 tunes without warmups and I only had to clear it once. These are great new fipple Plugs Dave. I’m so happy to have my Wonderful Copper Quiet D Parkhurst back!
Very fast service too! Thank you Dave! It’s all shiny and new looking again! It’s like getting a brand new whistle! Now if only I didn’t have to go to the barn in a little bit I could spend all afternoon getting to know it again.
Ok, Dave, when you send the super-soft cuty whistle thingie with the red plug, plz seal it into polyethylene. It’s supposed to be a gift. You know, but I might forget.
Though if I play it just a tiny bit before Christmas, can it count as break-in ?
No go: my smoking will give me away…

That is the first time someone has asked me that… I’ll figger out something. One soft, cuddly, whistleish, cutie oochy smookums wrapped in plastic it is! Hey, I wonder if Jessie thinks Tony is a cutie pie? )
Kathy, I’m so glad you got your whistle back better than before (and more than a little relieved that I wasn’t just imagining the problem, or being Too Particular).
Mr. Parkhurst, you are definitely a Class Act, and one of your beauties is going to end up in my stable before too long.
Kathy and Dave are both Cutie-Pies!

B sharp, C?
Isn’t anybody going to comment on my new .sig quote? I thought it was rather clever, myself…look at a piano keyboard if you don’t get it.
