No post misplacement: I’m not here to put down Dave, but he’s not exactly my idea of a cutie-pie. Rather, I have about the same kinda mug staring at me in the mornings when (and if) I shave…
However, his whistles are the coolest looking I ever saw. Jewelry without a trace of tackiness. Beauty without cutesie*. Trad as hell. Beauty parlor-whistles ? 
And judging from the one I purchased (but don’t own 
), the sound is on par!
