Anyone have the sheet music for “One I Love” as sung by the Irish singer Karan Casey in her album “Songlines.” “One I Love” was composed by Appalachian singer-writer Jean Richie.
It has a simple, haunting beauty that would be perfect for esith flute or whistle.
(It really is something how Appalachian and celtic seem to intertwine with each other.)

It’s no picnic for us strong, silent types, is it…we who struggle nearly silently along in the low 3 digits? We get no credit for all we don’t say…the quips not quipped, the jibes not jibed. Yet there are the small accomplishments, like yours. Of course I too am all about restraint, so wouldn’t dream of mentioning how noble the concision, how gosh-darned admirable is the paucity of our posts.
