Ok let me get this right so I don’t upset the apple cart. You get on here and speak down to folks as you are the high and mighty, you tell us all to stop mentioning you by name on here because you are rarely on here, but then you have the nerve to place a commercial post on here regarding the sale of whistles when ever you feel the need.
Mr. W. from St. Claire County, IL, I for one don’t appreciate you selling your wares on here and I believe Dale has asked you not to do the same until you begin contributing to the board in a positive manner, and you have certainly not done that.
To bad this isn’t my forum…your A** would have been history a longtime ago.
For those of us healed from the from the near fatal wounds inflicted … ( and able to overlook misspellins ) these are great whistles at very good prices. I hope they are still available when payday rolls around.
I agree whole heartedly that they are wonderful instruments, they are after all Chieftains, but with that in mind let me remind you of the old saying, “Wrong me once shame on you, Wrong me twice shame on me”.
Some wounds are deeper than others and just keep festering up…
Yeesh, have a glass of wine or something. You don’t have to get along with any of the cliques on this board to sell whistles here, provided you aren’t the maker. Let Dale handle his own disputes.
yes, a nice pint of Guinness perhaps, thanks for the suggestion. Raymond Stated:

Raymond I am not aware of any “cliques” on this board. But I am aware of a great deal more about the gentleman from St. Claire, IL than I would say you are unfortunately. Raymond Stated:

Another great suggestion, I have no doubt he will handle this one swiftly as he has before.
I vaeh no robelpm dingrea spelledmis rdwso nad do not hinkt you do ithere. Just sometmesi the ongwr wood yam be fusingcon. Accept and except rea wto of the ostm misused. Now are you not amazed at how well you were able to still read this?
You have got to be kidding me. I have never visited a board that exhibited greater herd behavior.
and
You also make a mistaken assumption that I don’t follow the threads on this board, simply because I don’t contribute posts to the herd.
Spoken like a true follower of the “Palm Tree”. Raymond, I understand the power of the “Palm Tree” I have been there and back. Remember we care for you and we just want you to be in our “Clique”.
Really though if you are a follower of the “Palm Tree” don’t be taken in and tempted by the glistening of the instruments being sold at a discounted price. Thats how the “Palm Tree” sucks you in to its world and before you know it you have bought 2 or 3 instruments and then it calls your name and asks you to do things very questionable, you try to resist, but the “Palm Tree”, offers more and more until its too late, it has you where it wants you. It will then drain you of your inner being and toss you away like a used Overton,Chieftain, or a picture of Spillane. Remember, “Those who follow the Palm Tree are easily tempted and corrupted” so just turn away Raymond, for Gosh sakes just turn away.
That’s a little more catty than necessary, actually.
I read some of the really very antagonistic crap that went on in that thread, and I think a lot of you, including you, KD, are a bit too chip-on-th-shouldery and way too judgemental on people’s spelling and punctuation skills. I saw more a** from the regulars in that thread than from tal. … in that flavor, you should look to learning when to use ‘to’, ‘too’ and ‘two’… but that doesn’t make you an idiot, so why does it make tal one? As for contributing in a positive manner, I’ve seen good stuff come from tal, and I was one of more than a handful who were recipients of a very nice CD for no more than shipping from him. I find the snotty attitude very unbecoming to many of the folks here.
Not required at all, actually. As indicated in one of his own posts, why not let the moderators take care of censuring as required.
If you don’t like the person, avoid them. If you don’t like a topic, avoid it. A very simple formula. I wish I could remember that more often myself.
Actually, Tal is the only one that is following the rule which states (from a foggy memory and paraphrased): Post items for sale BUT ONLY accept additional correspondense via email and PM, do NOT respond to any request made directly to the original post, can post updates and when sold.)
Wow, when I read some of these threads I actually feel relatively sane (doesn’t last long though). If anyone has anything to say they ought to say it direct instead of all this veiled inuendo crap.
That said, these are interesting whistles that I’ve been hankering to try and at apparently very fine prices. The seller has indeed followed the rules as well.
I am curious as to the reason for sale esp at these prices, but I, as others interested, can forward privately to inquire further.
