Hi,
I’m an intermediate level Irish flute player who lives in Central Jersey,
and am interested in finding a teacher. I’m willing to travel to Manhattan
if necessary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been taking flute lessons from Bill Ochs, and I recommend him without reservation. He’s terrific - a very nice guy, a very good player,
and a very patient teacher who focuses on the right things.
You can get his contact info from his website, http://www.pennywhistle.com.

I Believe Mike Rafferty give lessons and he is in Jersey not too far from the GW Bridge.
Raffertymusic@aol. com drop Mary (his daughter) a line and they will contact you.

Hi:
Yes, Mike Rafferty is still actively teaching and is easy to get to from central NJ. He’s near Hackensack. His lessons consist mainly of teaching tunes, so if that’s what you want, he’s the man.
