On all of Long Island, NY, I have not been able to locate a wooden flute teacher. Surely there must be at least ONE. Anyone out there know of such a person?

Not only do they offer classes there, but they probably have a list of teachers who are available for private instruction.

Thanx much for the reply about the irishartscenter. I went there and, would you believe, efery instrument EXCEPT flute!!! I plan on going to the Healy event in Oct. but was hoping to get something more permanent closer to me.
