Looking for a particular version to "Paistin Fionn&quot

I recently was given a CD of Lunasa’s “Merry Sisters of Fate” album. I have to say, I LOVE this album, especially the tune “Paistin Fionn”. I have in mind to try to learn it on my whistle, but it’s proving to be a challenge. For one, I am led to believe that the whistle they play this tune on is a low one, and I only have “soprano” whistles.

So I tried the next best thing, to look for sheet music. I must have wandered through a dozen or so sites, found at least 4 different versions of this tune, but none of them seem to match up to Luanasa’s version.

Would any one be able to point me in any kind of direction as to where I might look?

The Low F in this tune is fantastic. I wish I could find the sheet music arranged in the sameway as it is played on the CD.

This is a bit of an aside, but Lunasa’s track titles can sometimes be misleading. This isn’t the case with Paistin Fionn, which is just Paistin Fionn. But ‘The Minor Bee’ (for example) is actually, ‘Minor Slip/Ronde De Loudeac/The Red Bee’. A more expansive track listing for ‘The Merry Sisters of Fate’ may be found here:http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display.php/115
