Link TV is a channel available on Dish Network (and elsewhere?), they’re often running programs labeled “World Music” and yesterday they showed something called The Highland Sessions, narrated I believe by Fiona Ritchie, host of the radio show Thistle and Shamrock, or as some call it, Gristle and Hamhock…
Most of the music is by the Corrs (?) or their ilk but in the middle there’s a nice bit from Mick O’Brien and Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, pipes and Hardanger fiddle. They’re pictured at the LinkTV site for this program, too:
Didn’t watch all of it, seemed a bit too much Celtic like T&S itself.
