Kerry Songbird Low D [SOLD]

All the whistles have been sold.

Thanks

Think I will have coffee while I wait.

LOL… Tommy it won’t be much longer…I just need to make up my mind on what which two whistles to keep if any and place prices. Should be done tonight sometime.

I’ve felt the tug of the Piper a time or two myself of late. But so far I’ve resisted…

I do not need a set of pipes
I do not need a set of pipes
I do not need a set of pipes

So what kind of pipes are you getting? Wait, never mind I don’t care. I don’t want to know.

I do not need a set of pipes
I do not need a set of pipes
I do not need a set of pipes

By the way, anyone have a set of pipes for sale? :boggle:

Doc

Well KD, good for you. I always admire people who are deciding to take up a new instrument. Just don’t get frustrated [like me with the saxaphone  ]. I’d buy whistles, if “The Power That Be” :astonished: didn’t have my wallet. One day, I’ll get it back!!

Ok prices have been listed. I will purchasing either a practice set from Patrick Sky, Tony Hedgon, or Seth Hamon

Additional Details regarding the whistles have been added.

Thanks

ah yes, the pipes…

I’m off to Scotland tomorrow, and at the weekend I take delivery of a stand of Northumbrian/Scottish smallpipes - that’s two chanters. the maker is Ian Ketchin.

I briefly owned a set almost thirty years ago, and the memory never quite left me.

and yes, I understand the lust for the Irish pipes - but remember what they say in Ireland about how long it takes to learn: 7 years for the drones, 7 years for the chanter, and 7 more for the regulators. And, as Seamus Ennis once said, “It’s a shaky old house”.

I wish you much joy of your pipes.

all the best

Prices have been adjusted for a quick sell & I have added the Cillian O’Briain Low F.

Thanks

I am interested in at least three of the items you list, all of which I need like a hole in the head, but see recent post about the Great EWI Disappointment of 2005 and you will understand!

Tom D.

The following whistles have been sold.

O’Brien Soprano C

Oak Soprano D with Book

Thanks

That is great Keith, I hope you enjoy the pipes. I tried some time ago but did not get past the chanter which I still have. The first time I blew it the instructor asked me if I was going to be alwright. Seems it cleared my sinus congestion very quick. Almost like blowing four Susatos at once.
I never got the pipes but I did hook the chanter to a plastic shower bag and play it sometimes for the Boy Scouts. Young pepole think stuff like that is cool. Well time for coffee. :boggle:

Hey, whatever keeps 'em off the streets.

Doc Jones, I repeat:

You do NOT need a set of pipes.
You do NOT need a set of pipes.
You do NOT need a set of pipes.

Just thought I would make sure I was clear on the matter.

The pipes the pipes they are a calling!!!

Well, whatever we can do to get you there!
