I would very highly recommend it: he has a very subtle style of playing, along with excellent tone and control of ornamentation. There aren’t a lot of recorded CD’s of this style of playing (Paddy Carty comes immediately to mind, and John plays some of his tunes), and I think it’s really a breath of fresh air. Excellent music.
