I’ve heard that there is something coming up in Wisconsin and something in Indiana, but I don’t know when. Can someone help me out with dates or links? Also,if you’re somewhere else, there are probably lots of folks lurking around here that would like to know what’s going on in your part of the country. Thanks.

Here’s what I found:
THE 5TH ANNUAL GREAT LAKES IRISH MUSIC FESTIVAL…2002 WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, 2002 AT THE VAN ANDEL ARENA IN GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN (their CAPS, not mine)
Their lineup of performers doesn’t look real traditional, but I’m not that familiar with them so I could be wrong.
The Michigan Irish Music Festival Muskegon, a huge success in 2001 is back again for it’s 3rd annual event September 13-15, 2002 at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon, Michigan.
Looks more promising from a trad. standpoint (CTL and Chulrua will be there)…
As for Indiana, I’m not sure…there is an Indianapolis Irish Fest but they don’t have a date on the Web site yet. The Johnny Appleseed Festival is September 21 & 22, 2002 in Ft. Wayne. Not really an Irish thing, but Patrick O’Riordan sometimes has whistles for sale (or so I’ve heard…I’m gonna check it out this year).
