Does anyone know anything about whistle-related programming (or vendors) for the upcoming Cincinnati celtic fest on Sept. 29-30 (I think I’ve got the dates right)? I’m wondering if it’s worth a drive from Louisville, KY

Do you know where it is being held this year?
At Coney Island just outside Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Enquirer has in its “Weekend” listings the following:
29-30 - Cincinnati Celtic Music and Cultural Festival, Coney Island. 533-4822.
That’s all I know.

There’s a web page. There are some good musicians listed but many that I’ve never heard of. There should be good flute playing (Danu, Boys of the Lough) and good piping (Kieran O’Hare).
