Interested New Pipers or Wantabees!

Following a very successful Irish music retreat near Dallas this past weekend I felt compelled to pass on, for the benefit of interested newcomers, a short critique of the work of Pat Sky. My “budget” chanter from Patrick arrived Tuesday prior to the weekend. No gleaming ivory, no “shiny” brass keys, just plain well-crafted wood with a reed the combination of which offered phenominal ease of playing and high quality tone. The chanter was easy to control, lightweight, and responded in an unbelievable fashion. It allowed me, a “newbie”, the luxurious opportunity in a “fair fashion” to play along with experienced UP pipers as well as receive 8 hrs of very small-group instruction from the talented and masterful Jerry O’Sullivan. I cannot say enough about the impeccable quality of Pat Sky’s work except “WELL DONE” and “THANKS”!!
Sincerely, “Anasazi Piper”

Good to hear, Were you at the Midlothian retreat.

Yes, next to Ric and across from Jerry.
